VietJet has introduced a new loyalty program called SkyJoy offering the passengers an opportunity to earn and redeem SkyPoint on flight tickers and transitions from over 250 brands.
The program was first unveiled in a limited capacity in February 2023 and is now open to members of the general public to sign up and earn points. Customers can also submit a “Retro Claim” request for flights already taken.
In celebration of the launch, the airline is awarding 500 SkyPoints to each new customer who registers as a Vietjet SkyJoy member.
Points accrue on a twelve-month basis, and passengers can quickly move up Membership Tiers based on the amount of money spent and flights undertaken. The Silver level requires at least four one-way journeys and comes with a higher earning rate.
Vietjet SkyJoy members can redeem their points for various travel and non-travel rewards. Members can use their current balance of SkyPoints or buy more SkyPoints with cash to redeem for Fixed Point tickets, Final Deal tickets, and Market Fare tickets year-round, saving up to 90% over the cost of a cash fare.
