Marcel Kuijn will succeed Olaf Hoftijzer as Air France International KLM Engineering and Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) vice president sales Europe and key accounts.

The announcement came after Hoftlijzer moved to be managing director of the company’s regional jet centre in early 2023 and was tasked with continuing to develop the business’s commercial presence in Europe.

Kuijn “gained 15 years of international experience”, AKI KLM E&M said, listing his time with Air France KLM as global account manager and commercial director South America and with GOL Airlines as partnership director.

“I look forward to this new challenge and to contribute to the results of AFI KLM E&M together with the sales team,” said Kuijn, who will take up the role in May.
