Vietjet has signed Safran seats to equip up to 24,000 Economy class seat Z200 for 120 Boeing 737 MAX fleet with the first aircraft due to delivery starting mid-2024.

Safran claims that the new generation of Z200 Safran seats is especially designed for short and medium haul economy class, one kilogram lighter than the previous version and will contribute to the airline sustainability objective; in reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions.

Vietjet has chosen options dedicated to passengers’ connectivity needs aboard the aircraft including a PED (Portable Electronic Device) holder and USB ports and combines comfort, lightness and durability.
