Saudi Specialized Products Company (WAHAJ) has signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Rafaut Group of France to build local manufacturing facilities in the aviation sector.

The agreement is in line with the Kingdom’s drive to achieve one of the objectives of Vision 2030 for localisation.

Rafaut Group provides maintenance, support and repair services in addition to supporting and executing artificial intelligence in Industries 4.0.

Ayman Al-Hazmi, WAHAJ general manager, commented: “This is a clear indication of our continuous efforts to develop the capabilities of WAHAJ as a global supplier of aviation components and systems.

‘He added that WAHAJ has a solid belief in its mission to transfer knowledge, technology and the international advanced criteria in the field of manufacturing necessary to the aviation industry to Saudi Arabia.
