Satair has signed a multi-year distribution agreement with Dayton-Granger covering the global distribution of Dayton-Granger’s ELT-DT Blade Antenna.
The Blade Antenna is a product designed to integrate anti-disablement, lightning protection, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) location features in response to the new EASA mandate requiring commercial passenger jets to be equipped with emergency locator transmitters of a distress tracking type (ELT-DT) from 2024.
The Dayton-Granger ELT Antenna will be installed on the majority of new Airbus commercial fixed wing aircraft, complying with the EASA mandate, which applies to aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of over 27,000 kg with an airworthiness certificate issued after Jan. 1, 2024.
