Aircraft painting and design provider MAAS Aviation has announced Jan van Engelen as its new chief executive, taking over from Tim Macdougald.
Described as “an accomplished executive and board member”, Van Engelen has over 25 years of international experience in the aviation services industry, including as chief executive of Continental Europe of the ground handling and aviation services company, Swissport. as well as “various senior positions” with aviation training services business CAE.
“During my career I have been very fortunate to work with, and learn from, some great people and work on many exciting initiatives,” van Engelen said.
“I am proud to continue to represent MAAS and will be engaged with the business to the same extent I have always been,” said Macdougald, who will stay on with MAAS as chief business development officer.
