UK carrier Loganair on May 24th announced it had “celebrated the carriage of its 350,000th customer hrough Southampton Airport.”

The airline offered a free “surprise flight” to Glasgow-bound soldier Rachel Emmerson, the passenger.  “I wasn’t expecting the call that I would be the milestone passenger but I’m a frequent flyer on this route so I’ll certainly be redeeming this voucher soon on my next visit to Southampton,” she said.

“Only having started operations from the airport in 2020, Loganair has grown rapidly, providing ever-greater choice of fast and convenient options for South Coast travellers to reach all corners of the UK,” said Christopher Tibbett, head of airline relations & marketing at Southampton Airport.
