JetBlue has launched the TrueBlue loyalty programme it announced in 2022.

The scheme offers “more value with the introduction of tiles, Perks You Pick, expanded levels of Mosaic and more ways to earn perks and status than ever before”, the New York-based carrier said on May 10, claiming to have “set the bar sky-high as a travel brand”.

A customer who racks up 50 “tiles” can get extra check-in bags or an upgrade on the Heathrow Express train into London, among other options.  Pick up over 100 tiles and a passenger can get up to seven inches more legroom for free on each flight, while 250 tiles could mean getting a helicopter transfer to Manhattan from the airline’s New York airports.

“As JetBlue grows, we maintain our commitment to delivering innovative programs and products that provide our customers with great service and low fares, which is why we are thrilled to launch the new TrueBlue loyalty programme,” said Jayne O’Brien, head of marketing and loyalty.

The programme allows members “to customise their experience” by choosing rewards after being awarded ten tiles, with early boarding, priority security checks or a free beer onboard among the options.

“The new TrueBlue redefines what it means to be a loyalty programme by offering new and exciting perks to more customers, as well as providing more ways to attain perks and status,” ” said Christopher Buckner, vice president of loyalty and partnerships.
