flynas recently signed in as the official sponsor of Riyadh’s King Saud University’s Distinguished and Talented Students Program. As part of the sponsorship, it will provide resources for the program, including flights. Students and faculty of the program will now have access to the airline’s 70-plus international and domestic destinations, which they can use to travel to competitions, conferences, and other events

The agreement also gives engineering and information technology program students the opportunity to receive practical training within the airline’s departments. The partnership also creates opportunities for these students to work for the airline after graduation.

The partnership is a part of the airline’s commitment to leave a lasting positive impact on its community and the Kingdom.

Asma Hamadan, Chief of Shared Services Officer, flynas said: “We are proud to sign an agreement to sponsor the ‘Distinguished and Talented Students Program’ with King Saud University, the largest and most prestigious university in the Kingdom. The agreement will contribute to enhancing the knowledge transfer from various sources around the world to polish the capabilities of students and faculty members, which aligns with Flynas objectives to support national talents and institutions in the Kingdom”.

The university expressed its gratitude to flynas for signing on to help the program grow and improve.

Many universities team up with airlines to expand student’s practical knowledge base and give them an idea of real-world on-hands job. Such partnerships are mutually beneficial to the students in gaining first-hand practical knowledge and for the airline in contributing to skilled workforce development.
