Carl Jones joined Sunshine Coast Airport as the new Head of Aviation Development. With over two decades of experience in airport management, government, and commercial experience working with several leading airports around the world Jones is specialised in air service development, hub development, strategic partnerships, destination marketing and commercial negotiations in aviation commercial roles at Melbourne, Vancouver, and Brisbane International Airports.
Welcoming Jones to the new role, General Manager, Scott Norris said: “Jones knowledge and experience would help Sunshine Coast Airport reach new heights. During his career, Carl has overseen record breaking aviation growth projects at multiple airports, resulting in new destinations and new airlines, while helping grow and sustain existing airline partners across both domestic and international networks.”
