Amazon Air has terminated its CMI agreement with Silver Airways effective July 3. With this, Silver Airways will no longer operate flights on behalf of Amazon less than two years of partnership, reports CargoFacts.

Silver Airways has operated a small fleet of five ATR 72-600 freighters on behalf of Amazon, serving cities including Des Moines, Iowa, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wichita, Kansas, and Omaha, Nebraska, along with Amazon’s regional hub at Alliance Fort Worth Airport, Texas, since November 2021.

With the contract termination all five aircraft have been parked at Fort Worth Alliance since early July 3.
