AJW Group has extended its power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with Kazakhstan’s Air Astana by providing support for the airline’s Boeing aircraft.
In addition to PBH support, AJW is providing a lease package to Air Astana which will give the carrier immediate access to high priority aircraft parts.
Christopher Whiteside, president and CEO of AJW Group, said: “The extension of our partnership with Air Astana takes us into our fourteenth year of working together and makes them AJW’s longest–standing PBH customer.
“We are delighted to have supported this flag carrier over such a long period- a clear demonstration of AJW’s ability to develop programmes tailored to our customers’ needs.”
Air Astana is headquartered in Almaty and operates scheduled domestic and international services on 64 routes.
