SKYMARK Airlines has signed a Flight Hour Services (FHS) components contract with Airbus covering support for 10 leased A330 aircraft from 2014. Under this long-term agreement, Airbus Customer Services will provide spare parts availability guaranteed through an extensive scope of more than 700 line replaceable units (LRUs).

The contract includes pool access service as well as on-site stock at the main base and selected outstations and components maintenance service. An on-site Airbus FHS team will assist SKYMARK Airlines with daily spares management in order to secure the highest service level for daily A330 operations.

Didier Lux, EVP Customer Services at Airbus said: “We are delighted to welcome SKYMARK Airlines as a new FHS customer.” He adds: “This new FHS contract strengthens our market position in Asia and the ability to develop customized and tailored offers for our customers, through a successful collaboration between our respective teams.”

Airbus FHS contracts have now been selected to cover more than 120 aircraft from operators of A320, A330, A340 and A380. This new contract with SKYMARK reinforces Airbus’ strong presence on services market.
