Magnetic MRO has announced the launch of its representative office in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
The company’s new office will focus on developing new customers and partners in South East Asia.
The Kuala Lumpur-based team will focus on the introduction of Magnetic MRO services in the local market by developing technical training, engineering and DOA solutions for aircraft operators and maintenance organisations in the region.
In addition, Magnetic MRO will provide to local airlines, MROs and other market players with scheduled and AOG aircraft spare parts supply.
Inga Douglas, chief commercial officer at Magnetic MRO, commented: “Asia Pacific is the fastest growing market in aviation – both aircraft fleet and MRO-wise. Having well-established operations in Europe and being already present in the Chinese MRO market, it is a natural decision to start the development in yet another direction – South East Asia.”
Magnetic MRO plans to eventually expand the range of services offered for SEA customer, covering line maintenance, engine management, asset management, aircraft teardown, and other products.
