Air France International KLM Engineering & Maintenance and flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas are extending a “longstanding maintenance relationship” with support contracts for the Argentinian airline’s 90 CFM56-7B and CF6-80E1 engines that power 45 aircraft.

AFI KLM E&M said the airline “knows and appreciates the high standards and quality of service” it provides, with the two operators having “forged a close partnership defined by mutual trust and responsiveness”.

“The expertise, responsiveness and availability of their teams, along with their ability to appreciate the challenges we face as an airline, provide major peace of mind and the guarantee of optimal support services from both a financial and operational point of view,” said Diego Georgiadis, technical director of Aerolineas Argentinas.

“This renewed confidence from an airline of Aerolineas Argentinas’ stature illustrates the quality and pertinence of our support services from both a technical and economic perspective, as well as our teams’ commitment to delivering customer satisfaction,” said Paul-Antoine Vivet, vice president sales Americas at AFI KLM E&M.
