A Frontier A320 flight, from Las Vegas to Tampa, Florida, on November 30, was forced to return to the airport and make an emergency landing after the cowling broke off one of the engines. There were no reported injuries.

In a statement, the airline said that despite losing the cover, thee engine continued to “operate normally and the aircraft, an Airbus 320, landed safely.”

Each of the passengers on board were given a refund for the flight along with a breakfast voucher and a $500 voucher for future travel with Frontier airlines, and airline also covered the full cost of re-booking them on other airlines.
